 Although both Kamala Harris and George Taylor have many diffrences they also have many similarities which include working towards pushing the boundaries of society's norms, fighting in a society that is not very accepting of people like themselves, they are both African American, and both were the first  of their kind meaning that Ms. Harris is the first African American woman to run for Vice President and Mr. Taylor was the very first African American man to run for President of the US. For example, Mr.Taylor ran for President in 1904 under an all black independent party called " The National Liberty" and was ridiculed and even left off some states ballots all together. Ms.Harris's hardships may not be as unaccepting but they are just as sinificant i today's society such as being in a world were social media can make or break a persons career. Previously, she was in the running for the 2020 presidental election but shortly suspended her term due to finances and other personal issues. So to answer the question, even though  the two candidates face some of the same hardships there are still many diffrences between the two.
